Yammer Sports - Simple, at it's finest.

Yam House Sports is, by all means, an unprofessional sports blog with elements of pop culture. It isn't your everyday blog, let alone your everyday sports blog. We're a bunch of morons with no real direction for where Yammer should go, but with high hopes and the passion of a Stadium, we keep going.

I founded Yammer House. My name is Rani, but my display name for the Yam is The General. I'm part of our central group of bloggers called The Key Three. We started the Yammer Brand in the pursuit of making Sports readable for absolutely anyone while still holding true to the core values of sports fans. The mission here is to provide entertaining sports commentary and reports while approaching our blogs in the same 'Yammer Way'. If you don't know what we mean by the 'Yammer Way', just keep reading the blog, you'll see what we mean.

Yammer might not be for you and that's fine... In honesty, we don't really care if it is or not... If you don't like it, don't read it. The opinions of bloggers do not reflect the opinions of Yammer Sports and if they screw it up badly enough, they won't blogging for long, but we will stand by all the posts on our page, no matter how much you dislike them or how they're written. We really don't give a shit.

We'll eventually bring you podcasts, vlogs and other stuff you won't care about, but keep your eyes posted so you can ignore it all. You assholes.

Keep Yapping, folks...

Make Chicago Great Again.

The Chicago Bulls have just hired Arturas Karnisovas as the new Head of Basketball Operations. He's coming from his role in Denver as their General Manager. This finally means we can say good to the absolute dog named John Paxson. The even better news is knowing that Arturas is now in charge of replacing that other dog who is named Gar Forman, the current Bulls GM. This front office restructure will hopefully do a lot for the Bulls. Let's be honest, if you support Basketball, you support Chicago. You don't necessarily like them, but nobody moans when Chicago wins a game or two... Probably because they don't win games that much anymore. Let's also admit this, Chicago hosted what is probably the best All-Star Weekend, in terms of format, I've seen in years. I'm a big fan of Chicago sports, I hope they do really well. But let's see what other moves the new Head of Basketball Operations makes for his front office. Let's also hope they can get rid of ...

Vince Carter, current Atlanta Hawks small forward and shooting guard, was set to play his final regular-season game tomorrow in his NBA career. His professional career started when he was drafted fifth overall in 1998 by the Golden State Warriors, but then traded to Toronto in exchange for the fourth pick, Antawn Jamison. They were both Juniors out of North Carolina. Along with Jamison, Vince was drafted in a class that included Paul Pierce, Dirk Nowitzki, Rashard Lewis and Mike Bibby. Vince Carter This post is a bit different from the usual crap you see on Yammer. But here are some really impressive numbers that won't be able to sum up who Vince Carter was as a basketball player. Vince, at this point in time, has played in 1541 NBA games, averaging 16.7 points a game, 4.3 Rebounds and 3.1 Assists. He has contributed over 25,000 points to scoreboards across the NBA in his career and swatted 888 shots as recorded blocks in his career. Stats are impressive and Vince's s...
